How do I model Balloons ?

A Balloon Dog

Inflate a modelling balloon with a pump. You must leave a good amount of the tail end deflated to allow the air in the balloon to move along when modelling starts. Tie off the end.

Always inflate modelling balloons with a pump. It is dangerous to blow them up using your mouth. Also be aware of the choking hazard when around children.

You now need to make three twists to form three bubbles starting at the tied end of the balloon. Always twist in the same direction and keep hold of the bubbles until secured. The first bubble will form the nose and the next two, the ears.


	Still holding the bubbles turn the balloon as displayed opposite and twist the second and third bubbles together as shown. This will now form the head and ears of the dog and should secure the balloon so that you can let go.



		Next, simply repeat the above process; firstly with 3 bubbles forming the neck and front legs. Then make a single bubble for the body and repeat again with 3 bubbles forming the back legs and tail.


	Congratulations, you have made a balloon dog!
