How do I fold a napkin for cutlery ?

Napkin folding - Cutlery pocket

A neat way to fold a napkin or serviette forming a pocket for cutlery when setting a dinner table.

Take a napkin and lay in on the table in front of you.

Fold the napkin in half by lifting the bottom end away from you as shown in figure 2.

Fold the napkin into quarters by turning the right hand side over as shown in figure 3.


	Take hold of the first layer only at the top left hand corner and fold it diagonally down towards the bottom right hand corner.

Turn the whole napkin over to the right as shown in figure 5. (the red dot indicating the bottom of the fold you just made should now be laying on the table at the bottom left)

Fold the whole of the right hand side in towards the the centre of the napkin as shown in figure 6, then fold the left hand side over on top of this to form a rectangular shape.


	Turn the whole napkin over and insert your cutlery into the pocket that has been formed.
