Tricky Flick Magic
Two cards are placed into a fanned deck of cards. The deck is then squared up and the pack thrown to the floor leaving two cards on your hand...
...Your friend is led to believe that these are the two cards he or she placed into the deck.
Take a pack of cards and remove the 3 of clubs, 3 of spades, 5 of hearts and 5 of diamonds.
Place the 5 of hearts face down on the bottom of the deck and the 3 of spades face down on the top of the deck. You are now ready to perform...
Show the 5 of diamonds and 3 of clubs to your friend.
Note: DO NOT refer to their suits.
Fan the pack of cards face down and ask your friend to place the two cards wherever they like, face down, into the deck.
Once they have done this, Square the cards keeping them all face down.
Hold the pack tightly in the bottom right hand corner between your thumb and forefinger.
With a magic flurry; throw the cards to the floor ... BUT ... as the cards fly away allow your thumb and forefinger to come together clasping and retaining just the top and bottom card.
You may now show these two cards ... a red 5 and black 3.
It is very rare that anyone ever realises that these are in actual fact completely different cards to the ones they originally placed into the deck.
